WHO
CAN BECOME A MEMBER / SHAREHOLDER?
Any officer or civilian employee of a police department, law enforcement
agency or judicial entity within Summit County, Ohio is eligible
for membership.
Law enforcement associations which share a common bond through
occupation or association are also welcome to join. After a person
is approved for membership, his/her family members, including spouse,
children, parents, brothers, sisters and grandparents may apply
for membership. Once you become a member you remain a member even
if you terminate your employment.
HOW TO JOIN
Complete a membership and beneficiary card and return to the Akron
Police Dept. Credit Union. Per Ohio laws governing State Chartered
Credit Unions, one share must be purchased when opening an account.
This is not a fee!
This deposit is transferred immediately into your new share-savings
account.
